On January 23 2009, SNN (a collaboration of the three Northern Netherlands Provinces) decided to grant a network project on drug delivery. In this project, Vivomicx collaborates with Synvolux for proof-of-concept regarding targeted siRNA delivery and gene knock out in vivo. The grant is part of the European Union action line to stimulate European regional development (EFRO).
